  • I work with athletes across a range of sports to optimize performance. My clients compete in fencing, running, soccer, triathlon, rowing, and powerlifting, amongst others.

    A major part of my coaching approach is integrating training with the rest of your life. Most athletes have intense demands and schedules, such as families and careers. I factor total stress load - from inside and outside the gym - into your program.

    I use flexible programming and periodized training. That helps athletes avoid burnout and achieve peak performance by cycling through harder and easier stretches throughout the year.

  • Many people are interested in learning barbell exercises but are unsure how to start. Or maybe you love the barbell lifts but don’t intend to compete in powerlifting.


    My passion is teaching anyone how to get the best results from this unique form of strength training. My focus is client education. We cover topics ranging from how the latest research affects your training to equipment selection and understanding gym etiquette.

  • I take a holistic approach with competitive powerlifters. This includes stress management, sleep, and nutrition to perform your best.

    By assessing the needs of each individual, I can design the most effective powerlifting program. That includes finding your optimal training volume and mesocycle length. I also use periodization to ensure my lifters have an overall athletic foundation.

    My training approach works for beginner powerlifters through elite. I also assist with technical aspects of the sport, including meet preparation and weight class selection.
